Student Project with a satellite launch in 2021 from the Canadian Space Agency via the Canadian CubeSat ProjectInitiated and co-authored proposal that received a grant for $200,000 and launch of a satellite in 2020 as part of the Canadian Space Agency Canadian CubeSat Project.Leading the recruitment, organization, structuring and management of the student administrative and technical teams for Simon Fraser University.

Managed a team of 30 students, consisting of decision making, crisis management, problem solving and developing internal motivation within the students.Responsible for promoting the team through presentations, developing relations with professionals, fundraising, and organizing educational outreach events.Designed the Printed Circuit Board in KiCAD of the Power Distribution and the Battery Management System for the satellite.

Responsible for leading the design, construction and integration of the Attitude Determination andControl System for the Cubesat. This entails planning and managing the development process forthe system along with organizing meetings and establishing lines of communication between teammembers.Developed a MATLAB model to simulate the behaviour of the Cubesats attitude control. It considers the variable strength of the Earth’s magnetic field throughout orbit, and the satellites dynamics. The final model is used to evaluate the viability of designs for power harvesting to attitude control and downlink parameters to establish viable options to select from depending on the final budget, power allocation and weight restrictions.

Led the root cause investigation of interactions between mechanical compression and performance of a PEM Fuel Cell. Resulting in a revised mechanical design.Developed automated test protocols and methodologies to investigate the effect of recompression of automotive PEM Fuel Cells.Prepared and presented results from testing and analysis with recommendations to internal and external client through technical reports and presentations.Responsible for system maintenance, repairs and installation of sensors and actuators.

Improved interoffice communication and structure of day to day operations by revamping a BusinessContact Management system to systematically record communications between customers and theoffice along with providing an agenda of tasks ordered by importance.Developed an interactive excel macro that increased the efficiency of data entry into the system andautomatically recorded changes made during processing.Programmed an application in C# that generate lists of potential clients ordered by priority, byanalyzing ownership map data that was obtained from PDF images.Performed data entry and organized raw data from customers digitally and physically along withperforming quality assurance on processed data.
