During the two years, I have held a shift supervisor role at a variety of McDonald's on the Gold Coast including Niecon Plaza, Marina Mirage and Burleigh Heads.I have had the responsibilities of:- Running cost-effective shifts under a variety of pressures and labour constraints.- Effective management and organisation of up to 20 people at a time.- Running both back-end operations and overall performance during internal audits. - Providing support and training to developing managers. - Training new managers on inventory management systems and inventory controls. The above responsibilities have provided me with a range of accomplishments.- During internal audits receiving both perfect results for back-end and shift management respectively. - Achieving QSC manager of the month.- Supporting our team through Covid-19 and ensuring employment was maintained for 350+ people. - Achieving record sales during the last 12 months at my most recent store of Burleigh Heads.

During my year of department management at McDonalds I successfully ran both the inventory management systems and the employee training structure. During my time as STAT Department Manager my responsibilities included:- Complete management of all inventories moving through the store. - Training of effective resource allocation to maintain correct stock levels.- Monthly stock counts. - Bi-weekly orders of up to 270 outers. - Utialised an inventory management system that balanced UPT and UPI’s. - Maintained industry standards of stockroom cleanliness and organisation across wet, dry and frozen. - Fluctuated inventory holding levels on par with spikes in sales and events.- Completed deep analysis of statistical variance reports and distilled key findings to staff.- Frequent review of KPI’s to monitor success in my departments.- Completed training of new managers on all the above. I worked as a contractor for two months within Griffith Universities experience team focussing on a user based design student journey experience. I had deliverables in data exploration, key streams of the journey map and supporting my supervisors across a range of other areas. While only a relatively short experience, it provided me with a deepened understanding of Kanban boards in project management, user based design and journey mapping.
