Within Onaya.Science, a not-for-profit organisationw, I am involved in a neuroimaging investigation to identify physiological biomarkers and neural mechanisms driving the therapeutic benefits of N,N-dimethyltryptamine on mental health disorders. I designed and created an driving virtual reality simulation; in which users are either passengers in a car controlled by a human or an autonomous agent.0 The car is then faced with a morally salient dilemma. I used this simulation to run experiments investigating perceptions and preferences. This was with0 the supervision of Andreas Theodorou and in collaboration with Dr. Joanna0 Bryson.

This internship involved carrying out experiments on the effects of sleep on cognition. This was to investigate whether sleep can aid forgetting of irrelevant stimuli. It was achieved by investigating if a day time nap can remove a 'selective adaption' effect. This project was in collaboration with Stony Brook University in New York and supervised by Dr Nicolas Dumay.
