Devouring knowledge and turning it into win-win outcomes.Curiosity, the joy of solving challenging problems, and a drive to help people is why I turn up to work every day.My career has been a bit of a winding path so far with a few detours but always being guided by my lifelong passion for science, geography, and history of all kinds.My current role has a frantic pace and high case load. A day can include everything and anything from identifying metering defects to hardship cases to data analysis and modelling electricity usage to customer service complaints.Business to business files to budgets to metering designs to stocking rates to resolve customer queries before lunch. From a inner city apartment to a cattle station out the back of Bourke to suburban factories by close of business.This gives me the variety I crave to keep it interesting whilst also allowing me to learn and use my knowledge and people skills. It all goes towards speedily resolving Ombudsman complaints, high level internal complaints, and perform quality assessment and analysis whilst improving business processes and saving case costs.The depth of reviewing complaints for compliance and quality assessments has also allowed me to gain a useful knowledge of: Victorian and NECF regulations and rules AEMO published codes Victorian, NSW, SA, and Queensland distribution and installation codes Network policies, procedures, and documents The Privacy Act National Measurement Institute documents.I am also fortunate to have been able to work with Gentrack, Orion, SAP, and MSATS.What I want is variety, a challenge, and a chance to make a difference.Career Highlight:Work with the Greens in strategising, organising, and implementing the data Driven campaign for the seat of Prahran and the Southern Metro seats in 2014. Using cutting edge tools to identify and manage volunteers and use their best skills to power our campaign was a rewarding experience when it all came off on the night and a validation of my choice of organisers and data analysis whilst in the role.
