• Undertook a project for the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, testing a three-protein biomarker panel in urine along with four miRNA markers.• Collected and managed a database of urine samples from pancreatic cancer patients, those with benign tumours and healthy controls which were used for validation of the hypothesis.• Performed ELISAs and miRNA extraction on urine samples, comparing protein and miRNA biomarker concentrations against the pancreatic cancer diagnosis.• Resulted in a publication on non-invasive diagnosis of pancreatic cancer using the three-protein biomarker panel.
