As front desk staff for the Summer Conference Housing Department at UMass, my primary responsibilities include aiding and facilitating crucial aspects of the guest experience such as check ins and check outs, room switches, lock outs, lost keys, campus information, and building security and safety. Apart from these expected duties, I enjoy playing the role of concierge when asked to give a local restaurant recomendation or help with travel arrangements. Conference guests come from all over the country to stay at UMass campus, and I consider it my upmost responsibility to give them the best possible experience while they are there.

As an Associate Instructor for Top Tier Test Prep, I offer a wide range of services from SAT/ACT verbal test preparation to AP exam prep and general subject tutoring in history and english. I generally work with students one on one or in small groups, providing custom-tailored lessons in grammar, punctuation, writing/rhetorical skills, diction, and more. By teaching TTTP's highly successful techniques, I have raised my students' verbal SAT test scores by an average of 70 points in 2022. As a proud and accomplished history major, I most relish my role as AP instructor, as this affords me the opportunity to guide students' engagement with complex and important historical topics. Apart from my primary role serving students, I have taken an instrumental behind the scenes role with the company through my efforts at building social media presence as well as authorship of the company's new grammar and punctuation handbook. My contributions to Top Tier Test Prep have been meaningful and varied, and I am thankful to be able to bring the skills I have acquired from this company with me to future employers.
