For three years I helped found and scale the Melbourne office of one of Australia’s fastest growing PR firms. I’m now working with startups directly on PR and comms strategy through my own business The Media Accelerator. My goal is to work directly with brands and leverage my contacts and expertise to help win media coverage and build momentum behind their work. While I’ve worked with some incredible startup brands over the years, I’m known for my earlier work on Airtasker’s PR, where over three years I helped take the company from startup to household name. I’m also giving back to the community as a PR mentor for the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP). My success in PR stems from my background (and respect for) business and tech journalism. I’ve worked as a producer, editor and journalist for a few business and tech media outlets, including That StartUp Show, The Australian, News.com.au and Business Spectator. Working primarily for emerging publications, I gained a knack for cultivating and engaging audiences which I apply to any content work I take on. Outside of work, I’m an avid traveller, networker and perhaps the most extroverted video game fan you’ll ever meet.
