I worked as a consultant to oversee daily administrative duties and to workshop ideas on how to make operations more efficient. It was a period of rapid growth for the business, and the existing business model did not meet the new demands. I restructured employees’ roles to better delegate tasks and workload. I also implemented a CRM system to manage customer data and interactions. Additionally, I improved the business website’s SEO to garner more online traffic and wrote a business strategy for expansion into other sectors.

I was assigned to investigate potential cases, interview clients and gather all appropriate records, and then determine whether a NLRA violation occurred. Product Liability LitigationI was part of a small team dedicated to product liability litigation within the agricultural sector. I managed 100+ cases serving as a liaison between clients and attorneys, and as such was required to be knowledgeable in all aspects of the litigation. I became well-versed in not only legal processes and product liability law but also federal agricultural policy (current and past policies, crop insurance and subsidy programs, etc.), farming business practices, and various agencies such as the USDA Farm Service Agency and crop insurance providers. Demonstrating such knowledge built my rapport with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention throughout a lengthy and oftentimes confusing legal process.

I extensively researched EU trade policies, specifically those relating to agriculture, and presented the information to MEP Ehler. I also attended daily plenary sessions and hearings regarding EU and US regulations on various sectors of the economy and prepared executive summaries for MEP Ehler. Additionally, I coauthored a report outlining the key factors for the US economy during the 2008 Great Recession, including the many years leading up to the crisis and the immediate policy remedies pursued thereafter.
