I have been working in the entertainment industry professionally and in a volunteer capacity for the past four years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It is my desire to work in the film or television industry in the near future. I am a driven person, and have always pursued my interests and made opportunities when there are none. Most importantly three years ago I started a professional improv troupe, Living Improverty. I have handled everything from working with clients to organizing our public shows, directing weekly rehearsals to overseeing and performing in our monthly performances, our social media presence to our graphic design. Since our conception in late 2016, we have grown to have monthly public performances as well as frequent private events. We even started the Cedar Rapids Improv Festival, working with dozens of local high schools, professional troupes, and colleges to put together a weekend long celebration of improv in eastern Iowa. I live to perform, and love to create. I hope that one day I can meld these two passions in a career that I love.
