I represent the students to university faculty and administration in meetings and through correspondence, support and encourage senators by providing bill idea, and strategically appoint senators to Senate and University committees based on their interests and strengths. I preside as the Speaker of the SGA Senate, a non-voting member of all Senate committees, and chairperson of the Commission for Nominations, which recruits, interviews, nominates, and trains students to serve the student body.

I assisted Cyril Focht in running for the Tennessee's 6th District in the US House of Representatives. Most of my work consisted of writing content for social media on ethically-notable topics in the technology industry, such as discrimination by algorithms and data harvesting.

As a TA for Data Structures and Algorithms (CSC-1310), I reinforced my knowledge of basic data structures, classes, and pointers in C++ while assisting students in their lab assignments and programs in weekly labs and office hours. I critically analyzed code submissions and provided constructive feedback that improved students' outcomes in the class.
