I have worked for a local security company as a steward at events such as the Newport and Cardiff Marathon. This role entailed guiding and interacting with the public, and solving any spectators problems they might of had. The jobs involved communicating well with all types of people to help make sure they follow the rules of the event and do no put themselves or others in danger.

This work experience ran for the duration of my final year in sixth form, as a part of my physical education A level, which was ran by Cowbridge Comprehensive School. A variety of feeder primary schools, to Cowbridge comprehensive, were included within the program.Roles of this voluntary coaching included:- Coaching core athletic skills that were vital for athletic development.- Coaching a rage of core skills that could be applied to a variety of different sports.- Coaching sport specific skills, after core skills were established and fully learnt.- Ensuring each child had a positive experience with sport to promote adherence to sport.- Progressing each individual’s core skills and seeing them progress and thrive in their selected sports made me immensely proud as a coach.
