Reflecting on my time serving in various roles, I can't help but be appreciative of the opportunities that have been presented to me, whether that is serving the Greek Community in executive roles, working as a cook in the food industry, or working in healthcare settings. My time as Chairman and Vice President of Health & Safety in the Interfraternity Council at UTK has taught me many lessons. But most valuable is that my scope of influence goes beyond the people that I talk to regularly but the legacy that I leave behind through the various education initiatives I've been lucky to be part of or how I interact with community members to move Greek Life forward.In the bustling kitchens of the food industry, I honed my skills, developed resilience, and learned the importance of teamwork. These experiences laid the foundation for the next chapter of my career—a transition to healthcare as a Nursing Technician at UT Medical Center.My time at UT Medical Center has been nothing short of transformative. It's here that I've discovered the true meaning of motivation in the healthcare industry. Every day, I witness the incredible impact that compassionate care can have on individuals and their families. The challenges are numerous, but so are the rewards.Working as a NT has not only confirmed my deep-seated desire to serve in healthcare but has also reinforced my work ethic—always putting others first. The healthcare industry demands dedication, empathy, and a commitment to excellence, values that I've proudly embraced. Serving others has become more than a job; it's a calling that propels me forward with passion and purpose.
