Chief Executive Officer
After work, I attempted to develop a tutoring company of my own. I gained over 100 hours of tutoring experience and was able to help students reach drastic improvements in math and science courses. As I received more client requests, I started hiring tutors to help me; however, at one point there were too many client requests for me and my tutors to manage! I had little to no business management experience going into this endeavor, but I would consider it a success. I worked for a branch of STV that specialized in railroad bridge design and consulting.
