I am an enthusiastic Agribusiness professional with a Bachelor's degree focused on International Agribusiness, complemented by a minor in Horticulture. My career journey has taken me through diverse roles in rural insurance and as a specialist at Ballance Agri-Nutrients, where I have honed my skills in soil science, fertiliser recommendations, and crop agronomy. My primary focus has been on Kiwifruit and Avocados, with experience in berries and vegetable crops.With a solid foundation in nutrient management—having completed both Intermediate and Advanced Nutrient Management courses—I am passionate about optimizing agricultural practices for sustainable growth. I actively engage with the community through initiatives like Surfing for Farmers, where I volunteer as an instructor, and I previously served as Chairman of the Ballance Farm Environment Trust in the Bay of Plenty, where I also had the privilege of judging projects aimed at enhancing sustainable farming.My commitment to environmental stewardship is reflected in my efforts to establish the Sustainable Research Group focused on Kiwifruit research.
