I am a product guy at heart.The thing I love most about being a product development professional is being part of a team in bringing something to life. Being able to take a creative concept and help flesh it out into something real to be enjoyed by people is what inspires me. And it's not only about management of calendars, production timelines and daily throughput. It's about building a process in which the entire team can utilize to improve their abilities to deliver. A process that provides the guide rails needed for success, but also allows for the flexibility and inspiration that is required when working with a creative team. It's also about building a team and helping them to succeed in their goals. I have helped to build toys, custom bags, apparel, housewares and electronics. I have developed product with some of the most recognized brands in pop culture, including Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, Nintendo and Pokémon. In all of these, as a product development manager, I have helped to guide the team through the process, remove roadblocks and obstacles to their success and kept all stakeholders up-to-date on the project progress.In the end, we deliver something awesome to fans and customers.
