As a graduate from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, my work explores the relationship between environmental phenomena and the architectural realm. Throughout my studies I have endeavoured to investigate the influence climate and ecology have within the built environment in an attempt to explore the possibilities of symbiotic coexistence and climatological reveal.​The biophilic approach I take with my work interrogates the connectivity between human habitation and ecological establishment through the use of computational form making. I use digital methodologies as a crafting tool to explore organised complexity and texture production. ​Materiality and physical testing is also a fundamental element of my design process. Through my research, I investigate the potential of unconventional bio-contributing matter as an alternative to existing building materials. Currently, I have explored the use of Agar, Calcium Carbonate, Gelatine and Mycelium to interrogate their architectural properties and subsequent application within the built environment.
