CurrentIn this role, I:Train, mentor, and lead a diverse group of staff on multiple platforms of technical difficulty. Design instruction and process manuals and train on proper processes and methodology.Administer initial, six-month, and annual competency assessments. Incorporate an adaptable teaching style, to facilitate students’ various goals, needs, interests, and learning styles into teaching approach.Utilize meaningful assignments that demonstrate a connection with the lessonProvide clear, meaningful, and constructive assessments of student learning.Engage students in discussion with unique questions asking for feedback to stimulate creative, critical, and independent thinking.Integrate manipulatives such as literature and creative writing to encourage students to view the subject matter from a different perspective, thus cultivating a deeper understanding.Develop research assignments to strengthen students’ related skills, as well as to help them distinguish between good and bad sources.Deploy a variety of assessment methods, both formative and summative, to track student progress. Analyze data as part of continuous course improvement to foster sustained student success.Create a positive rapport with students to establish a collegial learning environment, where they feel safe to take academic risks, ask questions, share ideas, and engage with one another.Offer praise and encouragement to boost students’ self-confidence, self-esteem, and motivation.
