For this position, I provided two duties. The company acquired a LIS from Australia and were trying to implement it into the United States. Australia and other countries are not restricted to the CLIA Guidelines as the US is, so there were many challenges to ensure it is market ready. In this role, I:Served as an installation senior application specialist in hospitals or physician offices of the software itself. Collaborated with clients build their libraries, such as test menu, reference ranges, panic values, mapping one process to the next, and writing rules-based entries.Entered mock patients into the LIS and followed them through the system, order entry, testing, and results to ensure the path was free from issues. Troubleshoot issues, generate a detailed report and then re-test as needed.

Utilized precise pipetting skills, as this test was an eight-hour test, requiring various steps of incubation, washing, and finally counting by Geiger counter to determine the value.
