Hello,My name is Harrison Ryan. I am 22 years old and I am currently in my last year as a graduate student at Concordia University - Ann Arbor. I am a Graduate Assistant for Athletics here at CUAA as well as playing in my final year of collegiate baseball. This GA position has allowed me to combine the different experiences I have had and bring them together as one. I have always liked to do many things, and become what some may call "well-rounded". I enjoy the challenge of learning and growth. I pride myself on not necessarily being great at one thing, but challenge myself to being good at a lot of things. My goal is to get better each and every day at something new, while refining my skills on the things that I love.At Macomb College I was named an NJCAA Academic All American twice. Last year I was honored by CSC and named to the All-District team for my performance on the field combined with that in the classroom. I am also still currently a member of Phi Theta Kappa as well. Outside of school I have participated in six sports management internships, really getting a feel for business at all different sports levels. I have also challenged myself by working in jobs that I do not have much expertise in, but they have truly helped me become a much more well rounded individual. Once I am done pursuing my degrees, I hope to make an impact in the sports business world. I am not quite sure yet exactly what I want to do, but thankfully through the many experiences I have been afforded, I am narrowing it down. Combining my passion for sports and business, I am confident I will find the perfect profession for me. No matter where I end up, I above all want to make a positive impact on the lives around me.
