Maintained an active litigation docket related to the collection of delinquent property taxes. Chair of a divisional-level committee formed to analyze the Texas State Tax Code for potential proposed legislation. Worked closely on matters regarding real estate financial and construction agreements, negotiation, arbitration, corporate compliance, and litigation involving deceptive trade practices, Fair Labor Standards Act violations, and post-judgment receivership, among other things. Experience also includes corporate formation and maintenance under the laws of the State of Texas and under federal law, where applicable.

Oversaw the day-to-day operations of a team of 12 individuals in a federally-funded public service project. Project length varied, the first being a six-week, disaster-area clean-up initiative throughout southeastern Texas following Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Our team was deployed on the ground Monday through Saturday at this time, reducing water-logged homes to their studs while spraying for mold and ensuring those unable, or unwilling, to leave their homes had access to resources for their individual situation.The following two projects were each three months in length and involved participation in natural, locally-led beautification initiatives, basic construction, and primary and middle school-level classroom instruction. Our team's projects were based in southern and northern Arizona, respectively. My essential duties included the administrative tasks related to housing, travel to and from a project site, maintaining a "Spike" housing environment, managing interpersonal issues among team members as they arose, and acting liaison between my project's sponsor or community members and the Aurora regional AmeriCorps base.

Student staff writer of feature articles. I wrote the Monday “cover story” concerning the people, places, events, and general happenings of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I met weekly with other staff to discuss budgeted assignments, contacted potential sources, and set up solo interviews. Learned basic photography, video shooting, editing, and audio capture, while working consistently under tight deadlines.
