About Harrison Ho-Tom
Hello! I'm Harrison. I'm an artist because any other label is restrictive and temporary, but I'll be creating my life forever!I'm really interested in alternative healing and wellness, and a type of grounded spirituality (see the spiritual on Earth instead of visiting other dimensions and beings).I love writing, hence my articles. Give them a look!I really think the best value we can offer the world is by being ourselves. So to that end, I experiment a lot. I just want to leave Earth a better place than I found it.I wish you well!https://linktr.ee/harr.hotom

Sensitive Empath
Empath and StarseedArtist and ExplorerCreatively Living LifeSlow EmbodimentFounder and Leader of the Frog Jacket ReligionI've committed to the path of the Sensitive Empath since 2021 or so. I've always been a very emotionally sensitive person, but I spent most of my 20's fighting it. I was fighting to try to not be myself, because I thought I was supposed to be a certain type of person, and I spent time trying to fit myself into that box that never fit. So now I've decided to go in the opposite direction. Let myself be a Sensitive Empath, my true nature, and see what happens. Embrace the strengths and the weaknesses that come with this path. Clarity and deep preference guide me towards my best self.Ever since committing to this path, all sorts of psychic abilities are starting to bloom for me. Some examples:- Crystals communicate with me a little bit- I'm non-seriously teaching myself basic Lenormand readings. I'm exploring my own path into cartomancy, including collecting oracle decks and other decks from independent energy workers, whatever resonates with me- I sometimes do deep meditations into my emotions and subconscious programs and start to unravel them. What's mine and what's others and who does it belong to (Western culture, ancestry, parents, self, etc). Changing the root of some of my beliefs, and gaining some beautiful insights along the way- I now have an 'art diet'. Some art, like songs, movies, shows, youtube channels, I use to feed me, and others I avoid because they give me 'allergic reactions'. What I put into my field matters a lot. I am getting pretty good at looking beyond the surface of any art piece, into the quality of the energy behind it.
Event Coordinator At Anica Studios
Along with my best friend and business partner, aspiring to make the largest Anime Convention in all of Canada!https://anicastudios.com/team.html
Independent Thai Massage Practitioner
Bahn Thai is the only North American affiliate school of the infamous ITM (International Thai Massage) School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. They teach massage courses in addition to offering massages for the public.I was interested in Thai massage because it's intimate, impactful, physical, has an energy work component, is slower than the fast-paced corporate world and my strength is a slower pace, and it's the perfect amount of challenging and rewarding for me.To be clear, I started my training in Aug 2022, then started working at Bahn Thai Spa in Nov 2023, and quit Mar 2023.The reason why is I did not feel passionate about it, so I've stopped and am now looking for my next thing. I learnt a lot from the journey itself, and I do have the massage skill for a lifetime.

Classical Yang Style Tai Chi Student
A true once in a lifetime experience, I trained with Sifu H. Won Gim in classical Yang style Tai Chi for about 4 years alongside my dad (it was his idea) and a few of his colleagues. I practiced the classical form, along with push hands, internal energy work, body conditioning, Qigong practices, and weapon forms. I learnt a lot about internal energy and began to feel the Chi circulating within me, something I had no awareness of before, especially with no prior physical exercise experience. This was my first introduction to internal energy work. In addition I learnt about breath, balance, blood circulation, stillness meditation, body spatial awareness and sensitivity, and relaxation without structure collapsing.I am immensely grateful for having had this experience and I learnt tons that I will keep with me forever.I no longer study seriously with Sifu Gim because after about 4 years I realized it wasn't my path, but I do still practice loosely on and off and am in loose contact with my Tai Chi colleagues.https://www.nytaichi.com/curriculum.htm
