Plumber/Water Technician Responsible for carrying out routine monitoring, differential analysis testing on heating and chilled closed systems, and plumbing work. • Removal of redundant pipe work• Water tank inspections, cleaning, disinfection and replacements • Bypassing for the systems to be on the mains• Temperature testing of outlets and calorifiers• Water sampling• Water testing for Legionella control• Showerhead cleaning• BS8558 disinfection of pipe work• Closed system flushing of heating and cooling systems• pH testing• Conductivity• Inhibitor(s) level• Train and supervise new members of staff

Whilst at Mitie I passed my City and Guilds in Plumbing Level 2 and was awarded "Most Improved Apprentice" for my year in college.

MITIE gave me the opportunity to work with various experienced MITIE Tradesmen to establish which Trade I would like to persue and then they helped me learn how to progress in my plumbing career path.
