Constructed numerical integration software in Python for simulating partial differential equations and nanoscale physical systems using the exponential time differencing and Galerkin methods. Wrote software to run on Colorado State University’s Cray XMP Supercomputer on as many as 800 CPUs in parallel to simulate and analyze chaotic systems.Developed deep neural network code from scratch in Python to enable novel analysis of large data sets generated by physical experiments.Collaborated with Professor Carmen Menoni to model and implement a novel multilayer blazed grating manufacturing technique using thin film deposition with concurrent ion bombardment.

Responsibilities included managing over a dozen undergraduate lab sections, giving presentations regarding course material to recitation sections, grading student homework and exams, and providing individualized instruction.

My primary role was contacting returning and potential future donors to the University of Oregon. The objective was to engage alumni with current events on campus, and persuade them to help support the academic and student run programs at the University.
