Integration of Emirates Defence Industries Company:In December of 2014, Mubadala and Tawazun announced the formation of Emirates Defence Industries Company, (British spelling, yes) integrating Abu Dhabi’s major defense assets under one asset management entity. To support the integration, a board was formed of communications leads from key holding companies that contributed assets. Harrison served as Secretary of the Board and, in that role, helped guide strategic communications around the company’s formation. For his first year within the Mubadala Group, Harrison worked with ATIC (now Mubadala Technology) to reinforce a proactive thought leadership program shaping the UAE's technology conversation. This included: Economist Intelligence Unit Research: An ongoing partnership with the EIU dedicated to uncovering key opportunities and obstacles towards the establishment of a technology ecosystem within Abu Dhabi.
