Reporting to Head Designers, in the early process of Store Fit-outs.Key Responsibilities:• Liaison with store owners to arrange times suitable to and conduct surveys.• Conduct detailed surveys of interiors of a range of stores.• Conduct detailed documentation of stores suitable to be worked off in design and construction phases.• Contribute to the overall development of Greater Groups design and construction process.Key Skills• Using a number of tools to ensure accurate measurements are taken onsite.• Quick sketching whilst on site to convey critical information.• Use of AutoCAD to produce base drawings.• Good communication between head designers, and store management to ensure deadlines are met and survey's conducted at best times possible.

Reporting to Precinct Designer as part of Township Improvement ProgramKey Responsibilities:• Engage with peers and managers in the eight-week Urban Design Issues project through online contributions, platform management and issues evaluation.• Collaborate in the development of a Township Review Matrix based on the National Urban Design Protocol – Creating Places for People.• Conduct field research through application of the Township Review Matrix to extended township site visits.• Contribute to the development of a Student Expo project to present student work and skills to professionals from the design, planning and local government industries.Selected Achievements• Created a first ever objective analysis of places by applying 142 SMART criteria to the National Urban Design Protocol.• Helped improve the liveability of 37 towns across Yarra Ranges in helping prioritise the equitable and rigorous allocation of Council’s urban design capital works funding.• Held the inaugural RMIT Fresh Ideas event which received outstanding feedback from industry professionals for its pragmatic and personal approach.
