• Posting of incoming payments (cheques, wires, cash, credit cards) for Ottawa and other regional offices;• Investigation of unknown payments in Ottawa, as well as assisting with the investigation for other offices;• Accessing client A/P portals;• Return of overpayments to clients (upon receiving approval);• Maintenance of receipts and credit card mailbox for remittance advice and also fielding incoming queries from clients;• AR write-offs;• Processing of Credit Card transactions for Ottawa;• Maintenance of unapplied funds and funds held in suspense;• Reallocating funds received for other BLG accounts (SEDAR, Trust etc.) to the correct accounts;• Daily Cash to A/R report;• Completing EFT set-up forms for Ottawa• Answering questions about payments.

• Process carrier electronic invoice files and paper invoices. (GL Coding/Rate Audit/Approval/System entry into ACCPAC)• Co-ordinate and circulate invoices to be properly approved (signed) by authorized personnel, according to existing applicable policies• Prioritize invoices which require immediate payment and prepare various payment batches• Professionally handle a variety of internal and external vendor inquiries regarding invoice payment• Perform vendor statement reconciliation to ensure invoices are being processed timely and accurately• Assist in the annual audit function by locating and copying invoices for verification purposes• Banking deposits/AR Cash Application• Assist with invoice mailing / POD retrieval / System entry of invoice revisions• Other Administrative support and projects when required

• The accurate and timely invoicing of customers. This includes standard weekly billing cycles and customer specific reporting• The accurate and time paying of drivers. This includes accurately applying gross pay amounts to outstanding trips within A1 in order to meet inflexible bi weekly company payroll and semi-monthly owner operator payroll deadlines• Assist Credit and cash application departments as required• Perform month end Revenue accrual for assigned accounts• Perform account reconciliations as required on a daily basis• Perform additional related duties as assigned• Issuing of Credit Memos• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data• Track exceptions between the shipping log and invoice register• Experience using Acellos One Freight Logistics, QuickBooks and Great Plains
