Serving as an Information Systems Operator, I work in the world of ICT networks, safeguarding vital information while bridging vast distances to ensure seamless communication. My work isn't just confined to IP services; I am also responsible for equipment spanning VHF, UHF and HF spectrums. Additionally, I am trained to utilise the classic nautical flags and Morse code when required.I also play a role in Operation Resolute — a testament to the Australian Defence Force's unwavering commitment to fortifying Australia's borders and safeguarding our maritime interests. Within this operation, I wear an additional hat, taking on auxiliary responsibilities as the communications member of a boarding party team.

In my role at Kidstuff, I was responsible for L1 and L2 IT support for a network of 50+ retail stores across Australia's east coast. Not only was I the main touchpoint for these stores, but I also bridged the gap with our third-party providers when the situation demanded. While the pace was dizzying at times, it drove me to swiftly grasp the company's entire POS system and business operations. This role gave me a deep appreciation for the IT retail industry.

In this role, I crafted ERP solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform, collaborating remotely with consultants grounded in Australia while also navigating tight deadlines. I spent the majority of my time coding in the proprietary language C/AL.This position gifted me a front-row seat to a high-caliber professional arena. Here, I had the privilege to operate alongside and absorb wisdom from some very technically adept minds.
