At heart, I was a teacher. I taught High School Industrial Arts, primarily drafting, for ten years. Then I transitioned into CAD training and support for eight years, and then again transitioned into CAE training and support for over thirty years. I enjoyed the challenge of learning and training new material. I liked to simplify the difficult and help make others productive. I enjoyed working with many different people and visiting many different places,Two years ago I accepted retirement, and have found that this is also something that I can do.Now, I'm hiking, dancing and doing a little traveling. My wife of 42 years died a year ago, so that has also made a large change in my life. I still enjoy frequent contact with my children and grandchildren, and occasional contact with former work acquaintances.
