Working as part of the global Infrastructures team I am responsible for administering SCCM 2012 environment across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (circa 18,000 endpoints) as well as being involved in global Enterprise projects (circa 90,000 endpoints). Adaptiva OneSite is also utilised for content push/distribution management across the Enterprise.I help provide third line support and seamless integration of new technologies and ensuring the optimal running of existing systems and that business users’ requirement are met.This remit includes:-• Administration and management of end user devices• Administration and management of OS deployment• Creation and distribution of software packages (local and cross-site) - providing no or as little disruption to the end users (command line, vbScript or PowerShell scripts) – inc. packaging local language variations of software if required• Test and document the software used using documentation systems• Development of rollout and migration projects• Image creation and image distribution on client machines (local and cross-site) - from developing WIM images through adding Device Drivers to Task Sequences and defining/implementing default Applications• Collaboration with project teams to implement solutions• PXE configuration (initially through SCCM then through Adaptiva Peer to Peer PXE)• Monitoring systems through SQL queries• Providing support for Service Desk teams and mentoring them on day to day support• Providing troubleshooting assistance for McAfee Encryption issuesMajor projects undertaken:-• AD Domain migration (4 domains to 1, approx, 5000 clients)• MS Office 2010 to MS Office 2016 migration• System Center Endpoint Protection to Symantec Endpoint Protection for EMIA• Rollout default Corporate BIM viewers (Autodesk TrueView 2017, Autodesk Design Review 2013 and Bentley View V8i) to all clients in EMIA• MS Lync to Cisco Jabber migration

This position involve installation, configuring and administering the Altiris Deployment Solution and Altiris Notification Server Solution across the environment for Europe and the Middle East (circa 5000 endpoints). This also involved migrating these management tools to the combined Symantec Management Platform 7.6 (combined version of previous products). I was also responsible for the Symantec Endpoint Protection environment across the same geographical area.
