As a tech enthusiast and lover of Apple products, I have always been interested in software development. However, I started a career in Insurance after leaving school. 10 years later, I started an online marketplace with my Wife.I learnt many things from this experience. Among them, that I truly need to turn my passion into a career. Just over a year after this realisation and I have achieved a Diploma in Web Development and Design as well as completing the 100 Days Of SwiftUI course.I am now looking to utilise the skills I have learnt in software development, focussing in on iOS development to begin my new career path. I have a love for Apple products and hope through my career to develop for all Apple platforms.I am currently leading an insurance claims team responding to the extreme weather events that affected Aotearoa New Zealand at the start of 2023. Making the jump with me into a new career will be my many years of experience in the workforce.I have natural skill to work with customers and assess their needs to work with them in reaching the optimal outcome for both the customer and the business. I also excel in a team environment and thrive working with others. In my current role I find great joy in working with my team on both an individual and group basis to see them thrive and reach their full potentials.
