I've been teaching at Red Rocks for almost five years now. I find teaching to be very fulfilling. Since I started, the curriculum has grown to include titanium and niobium anodizing, centrifugal casting, mokume gane, and soon to come- a bronze foundry.

Burdett Metalsmithing & Design is a custom metalworking shop. I fabricate anything from furniture, to interior accents, to custom jewelry and knives. Design and craftsmanship are always at the top of the priority list.

Dun-Rite is a polishing and de-burring shop in Denver CO. Kevin Biggs, the owner and chief operator is a self taught motorcycle builder, polisher, and wood artist. Dun-Rite does work for N.A.S.A. Primus, Dynamic Materials Corporation, and Ball Aerospace just to name a few. I've learned more about polishing in the past few years as a mercenary/part time worker at Dun-Rite than I ever did during my years as a metalsmithing student.

I assisted in the blacksmithing classes at Peter's Valley for only half a summer. It was my first official experience with educating. I assisted instructors in week long classes. The instructors were Maegan Crowley, Chris Winterstien, Peter Joseph, and Dan Radven.
