My role in the Rab & Lowe Alpine sale office is centered around the management of our shop accounts in the south of England & Spain. My primary role is to process seasonal forward and ASAP product orders through Microsoft Dynamics and ensure each store receives their orders in a timely manner through effective stock management. In order to do this effectively I co-ordinate with an external Sales Representative in the UK and a distributor in Spain.In addition to this I also assist with the E commerce side of the business which includes online B2C & B2B sales as well as customer queries. More recently I have begun to work as part of the technical trainer team which involves attending numerous events, setting up trade stands to ensure both brands are presented in the appropriate manner enabling us a trainers to present new and exciting products to shop staff in order to educate them regarding technical specifications. This is an extremely exciting part of the role to me as it offer me the opportunity to pass on my passion for the outdoors & the technical products that aid our enjoyment whilst we're out there doing what we love. I'm also responsible for making sure the internal sales team's technical product knowledge is up to scratch as we go into each new season.

A friend (Tom Parkington) and I have developed and operate a strength and conditioning program for climbers in Sheffield. As a claims consultant for a health insurance provider I made complex decisions regarding care claims of clients in relation to the specific terms & conditions related to the policy options they had selected. Often this would require further research into specific conditions, conversations with specialist consultants or GP's as well as negotiating with our internal technical and medical teams. I quickly progressed through various stages of training in this role becoming more advanced and capable as I developed into a key member of our team.
