During his career in the Army, Harry had the privilege of leading some of the nation’s finest soldiers in both peacetime and combat. These experiences taught him that success hinged upon his ability to build and lead teams made up of individuals with diverse backgrounds, who were bound by a common set of core values, mutual respect for each other and a universally understood purpose. Harry’s subsequent work in the civilian sector provided him with numerous opportunities to lead a variety of strategic development efforts, to include strategies on leader education and development, institutional transformation, and organizational modernization. Following these efforts, he was given the responsibility of establishing and managing the processes that ensured the successful implementation of these strategies, to include the identification, monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators, collaboration and synchronization across lines of effort and strategic messaging/marketing tailored to the various stakeholders in the community of interest (COI). Harry and his wife Dana Cohen (TAMU 90) currently reside in College Station, TX.
