Worked as low voltage technician since 1987. Most recently with Honeywell in Freeport, IL and Madison, WI working in HVAC controls, burglar and fire alarm service and testing, CCTV, and card access systems. Configuration and maintenance of Windows Server 2008 & 2012. Used my cabling and computer skills to enhance Honeywell's capacity to service its customers. Found and repaired long standing problems others had not succeeded in solving. Experience in maintenance and installation of telecommunications equipment including key systems, most recently at Exelon Quad Cities Nuclear plant. Provided a high level of customer service, regularly exceeding SLA's. Used Avaya CMS to maintain the Avaya hybrid phone system. Performed moves, adds, and changes in a fast paced and challenging environment. Helped client through the transition from Nortel environment into the Avaya environment.Experience in electronic security including burglar and fire alarm, card access, and video surveillance. Troubleshooting and repairs are my specialty. I have been able to find ground faults others could not. Main goal is to pursue further education and training in telecommunications, including IP communications.
