Handles plant conservation duties involving cleaning, sandblasting, and painting various structures lsteel throughout the facility, structural streel preservation & epoxy floor coatings. Actively participates in scheduled and unscheduled outages and preparation, designated gas tester. Prepares facility for Safety Snapshots and Tours, as various other tasks as needed and/or assigned. Inspects plant for compliance for safety. Specializes in interior & exterior painting, drywall, sealants, floor repair and refinishing, concrete repair for commercial, industrial and residential properties throughout career.Supervision and coordination of teams on concurrent projects. Ensures quality control of material and work product. Generates estimates, works within budgeted allowances and material specifications; contracts and coordinates with outside contractors to provide high level of service and completion of specified tasks.Active member of Safety Committee. Proactively supervises corrective action to any OSHA, DEP and EPA non-compliance issues. Works to maintain OSHA VPP Star Sites.
