Managed a team of four mission managers overseeing every facet of the launch process once a launch vehicle was delivered from production. Successfully led my launch team through 17 successful GPS launches valued at $60 million each.While serving as an integration engineer, was selected by the Air Force to lead the US team to assume management from NASA of the joint US - West German Roentgen Satellite (ROSAT) program to be launched on a modified Delta II rocket. As project manager, resolved many highly complex management problems associated with the international and multiple US agencies involved which was largely attributable to the programs success. Received a certificate of recognition for the NASA Administrator for contributions toward the success of the ROSAT mission.Being one of the first mission integration engineers assigned to the Medium Space Launch Vehicle Program was responsible for directing the prime contractor in the development of launch operations procedures for the first Air Force Delta II launch vehicle. Managed a 200 plus man team of Air Force and contractor personnel which erected the Delta II rocket, mated the GPS spacecraft, and performed electrical, mechanical, acoustic, and environmental checks and procedures in preparation for launch. Successfully managed three Delta II/GPS missions valued at over $200 million. -

In this capacity, directed and managed the request for proposal for the development and production of a state-of-the-art AIM-9 Missile Launch power supply. Coordinated the power supply and missile requirements with the Navy and other DoD agencies ensuring all DoD tactical aircraft could use the power supply. Served as lead engineer and project manager for the redesign of the F-16 nuclear remote interface unit (NRIU). Redesigned NRIU increased the F-16 nuclear mission capability -- worldwide. Was responsible for the integration of all air breathing, nuclear and air-to-ground weapons used on the F-16 multi-role fighter. Responsible for assuring that the addition of these weapons did not adversely impact aircraft structures, aerodynamics, electromagnetic compatibility and employment capabilities. Lead engineer for all design changes to the F-16 nuclear and conventional weapons Stores Management System.
