Supported the Orion Program Planning and Control (PP&C) Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) office providing strategic and broad CM support on all levels with an emphasis on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the office. Responsible for starting, tracking, and closing out all changes (requirements, design, functional) to the Orion system from both internal changes and external changes levied on the Orion Program.

Provide systems engineering support to the Vehicle Integration Office (VIO) in the management of functional and physical requirements, requirements analysis, functional analysis, interface definition, impact analysis, and overall vehicle integration support.

Assigned as the Cradle Lead for the NASA Orion Project responsible for creating a vision for the use of Cradle, a systems engineering requirements tool across the project. Also responsible for setting policy and creating procedures for the use of the Cradle tool within Orion and through the various NASA centers that support the Orion Project. Program Manager (PM) for eight programs; James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS), Future Combat System (FCS) Network Management System (NMS), FCS Logistic Decision System (LDS), Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV), Deep Space Network (DSN) at JPL, Systems Engineering Revitalization (SER), Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP), and Space Radar. Systems Engineer for the CEV program supporting the Phase I design and development effort as part of the NGC/Boeing Team. Support the requirements development and flow-down of NASA Level II requirements performing requirements analysis. Program manager for the aforementioned eight programs ensuring all programmatic and contractual requirements are met in a timely manner.

Multi tasked to perform Systems Engineering, Computer Resources, and CM/DM Management for DMSP task with the Air Force Program Office. Provided systems engineering, systems integration and technical management for Deployed Tactical Terminal and Spacecraft IPT program managers. Updated and implemented the MARK IVB Computer Resources Life Cycle Management Plan (CRLCMP) and the STT CRLCMP. Led the team to update all CRLCMPs for DMSP, creating a capstone document with annexes for Spacecraft, C3, MARK IVB and STT. Key participant in the development of the STT Accreditation Plan required by the HQ AWS before the STT could be fielded. Managed the Material Improvement Project (MIP) for the Deployed Tactical Terminals (MARK IVB and Small Tactical Terminal (STT)), coordinated all board meetings, and performed facilitator function during the meetings. Managed the configuration and data management (CM/DM) function for the space, C3, and Deployed Tactical Systems segments. Managed a team of configuration managers and data managers who maintains configuration control and status accounting of the DMSP and CDFS II baseline. Provided CM/DM support for NPOESS program as well.

Deputy Task Manager and a member of the technical staff in support of the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) Office at Los Angeles AFB, CA. Provided systems engineering support for the DMSP ground, space and user segments ensuring a reliable system for disseminating meteorological data to DoD users and the National Weather Service. Managed the DMSP configuration management office, supervising two data managers and four configuration management officers, responsible for the configuration control of the DMSP program to include the spacecraft, ground processing terminals and tactical terminals.

Director of Launch Operations for the Delta II Medium Space Launch Vehicle Program was responsible for the overall management of launch operations for the Delta II launch vehicle and Global Positioning System (GPS) spacecraft. Managed a team of four mission managers overseeing every facet of the launch process once a launch vehicle was delivered from production. Successfully led my launch team through 17 successful GPS launches valued at $60 million each.While serving as an integration engineer, was selected by the Air Force to lead the US team to assume management from NASA of the joint US - West German Roentgen Satellite (ROSAT) program to be launched on a modified Delta II rocket. As project manager, resolved many highly complex management problems associated with the international and multiple US agencies involved which was largely attributable to the programs success. Received a certificate of recognition for the NASA Administrator for contributions toward the success of the ROSAT mission.Being one of the first mission integration engineers assigned to the Medium Space Launch Vehicle Program was responsible for directing the prime contractor in the development of launch operations procedures for the first Air Force Delta II launch vehicle. Managed a 200 plus man team of Air Force and contractor personnel which erected the Delta II rocket, mated the GPS spacecraft, and performed electrical, mechanical, acoustic, and environmental checks and procedures in preparation for launch. Successfully managed three Delta II/GPS missions valued at over $200 million.

Lead Armament Engineer on the F-16 Air Superiority Fighter Program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. In this capacity, directed and managed the request for proposal for the development and production of a state-of-the-art AIM-9 Missile Launch power supply. Coordinated the power supply and missile requirements with the Navy and other DoD agencies ensuring all DoD tactical aircraft could use the power supply. Served as lead engineer and project manager for the redesign of the F-16 nuclear remote interface unit (NRIU). Redesigned NRIU increased the F-16 nuclear mission capability -- worldwide. Was responsible for the integration of all air breathing, nuclear and air-to-ground weapons used on the F-16 multi-role fighter. Responsible for assuring that the addition of these weapons did not adversely impact aircraft structures, aerodynamics, electromagnetic compatibility and employment capabilities. Lead engineer for all design changes to the F-16 nuclear and conventional weapons Stores Management System.
