Fire Prevention Specialist Lead
Oversees the fire prevention program at assigned Hub and Satellite camps within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR) to ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all requirements are met to include, but not limited to, Semi-Annual Fire Inspections, Public Fire Prevention and Education Programs, and Fire Extinguisher Exchange and Maintenance Program. Assists with the assessment and applicability of current program objectives of fire prevention operations, to identify trends and problems, and recommends corrective measures and process changes when necessary.Oversees the Hazard Assessment Inspection Program, Public Fire Prevention and Education Program, and Extinguisher Maintenance Program. Responsible for implementing internal controls, self-inspection, and audit compliance.Coordinates with the Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, and other supervisors in the development and implementation of policies. Prepares, executes, and schedules assignments of subordinate personnel to inspection and training duties to ensure the installation meets the training requirements as required by the DOD, and other regulatory guidance.
