About Harry Helmrich
I love developing innovative solutions for solving industrial problems, especially with hardware and easy-to-use interfaces. After working in the Fertilizer industry in Florida for 5 years, I started Monomer Software to create mobile applications and other software solutions for the chemical industry. We've grown over the past few years and now have 2 main products: Stilt for multi-craft work management and operator rounds, and Canopy Vision, an end-to-end hardware and software platform for deploying smart cameras. With Stilt, you can manage all types of Industrial work, such a Scaffolding, Insulation, Waterblasting, Sandblasting, and more. We initially built the app from the ground up to manage day-to-day scaffold requests at a facility (installation, modification, inspection, removal) and more recently expanded it to handle other crafts as well. The software is available on iOS, Android, and web and has a full set of KPIs and customizable features and can be tailored to work with your existing process. This software has been proven and in use at multiple large facilities and has managed thousands of requests. Find out more at https://stilt.monomersoftware.comWith Canopy vision, we can quickly deploy cameras and AI to detect various conditions within your facility. Recent projects include observing truck-unloading for safety/procedural violations, detecting high-level conditions on a tank, classifying the amount of flow of material over a weir, and classifying material on a conveyor belt. In addition to the powerful features of our software, we have also developed hardware specifically for harsh, dirty industrial environments. Over the past 3 years we have been involved in multiple A.I. vision projects and realized that A.I. cannot be deployed successfully in a harsh environment if the cameras keep getting dirty. A true self-cleaning industrial camera was needed because these cameras are often located in difficult to reach areas, or in locations that require downtime to clean. Our patent-pending, self-cleaning, edge-computing, cameras have been proven in some of the harshest chemical environments yet. We look forward to pushing the limits of this technology and excited to share some new details soon!Feel free to contact me to learn more about what we are doing.
