Responsible for the consolidation, cleaning, verification and analysis of Energy Data across the business. Using advanced modelling capabilities, forecasting tools and analysis techniques we can gain improved insights into our energy use that can be used to identify and validate opportunities for optimisation, such as improved operating schedules, making use of new technology or upgrading to more efficient assets (to name but a few).

Working in partnership with Northumbrian Water Ltd (NWL), the KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) aims to take my PhD research and embed the outcomes and knowledge within NWL systems. The primary goal is to integrate the Energy Management optimisation tool that was developed as part of the PhD for the Advanced Anaerobic Digestion plant for NWL's large wastewater treatment site on Tyneside. The model uses a novel MILP (Mixed Integer Linear Programming) approach to optimise site operations whilst considering varying energy costs, demands and renewable biogas production on site. Secondary to this objective, the KTP project will improve some of the other models developed throughout the PhD (such as a biogas prediction model). Additionally, the KTP will see the application of the PhD research to other sites within the business, with potential scope for application elsewhere.

Working alongside Northumbrian Water, I investigated optimisation, control and data driven modelling opportunities at a large advanced wastewater treatment works in the Tyneside area. Such treatment sites have high energy demands, but also produce high volumes of renewable biogas as a by-product of the treatment process. The PhD project delivered an optimisation model to energy usage and gas distribution on site, including new legislation into carbon emissions to aid in the water sector's 2030 carbon neutrality pledge. - Changed role to push myself in an area I could develop my skill set better, the Sales Team. - Responsible for contacting local vendors, generating sales though calls, visits and emails and delivering orders in a timely manner. - I was still a production team lead.

- Part of the team that runs the Student Brewery (Europe's first fully student run microbrewery). - Responsible for ensuring all safety and legal paperwork was up to date, responding to external enquiries, managing brew day staffing, lasing with local companies regarding contract work and carrying our safety checks on equipment were just some of the key duties of the position. Additional Role: Production team lead - Organising and running brew days, teaching brewing techniques and scientific theory to inexperienced members, creating new (and old favourite) beers on the 1200L brew kit, preparing products for sale and performing deep cleaning CIP procedures to ensure product quality and hygiene.

- Brewery tour guide and bar staff for a local microbrewery and tap room. - Brewery tour guides require an intimate knowledge of the brew kit and brewing process, as well as excellent oral and presentation skills. - Also a member of the bar staff, working to provide an excellent customer experience for patrons of the tap room.

- Spark provide bespoke customer service requirements for a wide variety of companies. - Developed excellent communication and conflict resolution skills and received recognition cards for my contribution to the company. - Able to effectively communicate with the public under pressure and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a swift resolution was achieved. - Trusted to organise and establish new procedures for a new client base and again received recognition for this.

- Member of the bar staff, was trusted to run the bar single-handedly.- Successfully ran the kitchen as the stand-in cook for the summer. Customer feedback was excellent

- Organised and oversaw the functioning of the rifle club with overarching responsibility for each committee member's duties, and the organising of both social and formal competition events.

- Responsible for all legal, legislative and safety requirements of the running of a rifle club. - Liaised closely with Northumbria Police Firearm's dept.

- Member of the bar staff, was trusted to run the bar single-handedly.

- An efficient and valuable team member with recognition for a high productivity rate.- Understood the importance of efficiency and accuracy within the company, and performed warehouse distribution based tasks accurately to a high standard.

- As a volunteer for the hospice, I took charge of reception and worked alongside nurses to provide essential patient centered care. - Working as a team member and learned how communication and collaboration is vital. - This voluntary experience gave me valuable customer relations experience, improving my social conduct and reactions in challenging situations.
