Recruiting for Early Childhood Educators in Perth CBD and regional WA. Conduct phone screens and interviews daily, whilst liaising with clients regarding staffing. Consistently seeking new candidates and clients using various methods such as social media, job advertisements, talent searches and presentations.

Seasonal contract on board a super yacht. We completed 7 charters as well as a 6 week trip with the yacht owner and his family on board. During the day I set up and launched water toys, constantly tidied guest areas and transported guests between islands using our 35ft tender. At night I would be on anchor watch, tidy guest areas and wash areas which had got salty. I lived on board with 7 other crew, we could accommodate 12 guests, and we had 8 days off all season.

Constant recruitment for HGV drivers due to current economic climate: performed interviews and inductions every week. Prioritised tasks for a small fleet of mechanics to ensure vehicles were prepared for certain events. Booked toilets and catering for every event, forming a rapport with many businesses to obtain an appropriate rate. Worked Monday – Friday in the office and then at the events most weekends, whilst being on call 24/7 for any breakdowns: it was my duty of care to ensure every employee got to their destination safely.

Graduated from university and obtained this job quickly during the global pandemic. The role involved physical work where i chose to work 12 days on, 2 days off because of the opportunity of overtime every other weekend, my daily tasks consisted of picking cages and loading the cages on to trailers. I had to use my physical strength when picking heavy items from the warehouse aisles into the cages, as well as my ingenuity when safely fitting many items in the cage which involved a great deal of packing and repacking the items, loading the trailers consisted of condensing the cages so that they would fit on to the order. It was crucial we used the correct amount of straps and bars for each trailer to ensure a safe delivery,

Cash management skills enhanced, as well as establishing a high quality of customer experience. I displayed my punctual and reliable nature when opening and closing the store, thereby being responsible to ensure the environment was welcoming and fit for purpose. I displayed my authoritative nature when supervising and training new employees. I assured there was an appropriate cash flow in the shop which meant I was accountable for banking money and delivering/ collecting money to/ from other stores.

Whilst studying in Liverpool, I was an active member of the vibrant community within the city and independently organised and executed my own events in Liverpool City Centre. Operating under the name, Elation Events, I employed a small promotional team to help cover all areas of the city. I was responsible for creating social media content creation, as well as producing posters and flyers, as to promote upcoming events. Alongside the various forms of promotion, ticket sales were documented to help calculate a break-even analysis after every event. Organising the logistics for my own events meant that I sourced locations, regulated ticket sales through outside sites for instance Skiddle, and liaised with outside vendors such as DJ’s, promoters and venue owners. When running Elation Events, it was crucial that I created and maintained positive working relationships with Liverpool’s businesses, forming a rapport with many of the city’s venue owners. This even led to several landowners offering exclusivity to their space for certain nights of the week.

For 6 weeks, I was in charge of teaching Chinese children in Shenzhen, China. The children were under my duty of care for up to 12 hours a day, causing these 6 weeks to be fulfilling for me as I was a role model for the children. I had to adapt to an unfamiliar setting, putting me out of my comfort zone. Upon my arrival, I was informed of the lessons I was teaching, which meant I was required to produce a lesson plan and PowerPoint for the following day of teaching.

During my trip in Australia I worked on a small farm in Gayndah, where I picked mandarins. Here you are not on the luxury of an hourly pay but instead paid at the amount of fruit you pick. Therefore, a lot of the time you didn’t have enough time for a break as you wanted to make as much money as possible due to the poor amount of money the farmer was paying you. Waking up at 5:00AM and not coming home until 4:00PM was tough to start with but after a while the routine became natural. I can now work in any conditions, at a fast pace, for no matter how long. Whilst working on this farm I managed to complete the 88 days of farm work meaning I am able to access a second year working holiday visa in Australia up until the age of 30.

Working in Morrisons’ Café has enhanced my customer service skills further due to a high amount of the customers I served on the till as being ‘regulars’. This means that I had to treat them with the best possible service. As well as serving customers on the till, I also prepared food, pot-washed, cleared tables and reduced stock in the café. For a large proportion of my shifts I started 2 hours before the Café opened. This meant that I was in charge of setting up the Café for the day by collecting the relevant stock from the warehouse, deli counter and freezers.

Whilst working at McDonalds, I gained a level 2 award in food catering and safety and a wide range of skills which have helped me deal with customers. Also I have learnt the ability to train others to do something they haven’t done before and the independence of counting the stores cash-flow. This busy environment has also enabled me to work efficiently as part of a team and has also taught me how to cope in high pressure situations.

I mainly worked as a receptionist where I developed a high level of skills in customer care as I answered the phone, helped customers around the shop and ordered items to be delivered to the shop on various websites. Also, I helped out in the stock room where I cleaned glasses and cases and organised prescriptions into specific groups.
