As an Education Officer, I engage and educate diverse audiences, including the general public, schools, universities, and SEN children, on topics such as animal behaviour, biology, and conservation. I deliver tailored educational programs that inspire curiosity and a deeper understanding of wildlife, ensuring accessibility for all age groups and learning needs. This role allows me to create impactful learning experiences that promote conservation awareness and drive meaningful connections with nature.In addition, I serve as the Social Media Manager, where I oversee content creation across multiple platforms. This includes capturing and editing videos and photos that highlight key aspects of our animal care and conservation efforts. I regularly interact with the public via social media, hosting live streams on TikTok and fostering engagement that expands our reach. Through this dual role, I bridge education and digital engagement, driving both in-person and online learning.

As a Small Carnivore Keeper, I was responsible for the daily care, husbandry, and enrichment of a diverse range of species, including meerkats, fossa, and lynx. My role involved maintaining high standards of welfare, ensuring dietary needs were met, and implementing species-specific enrichment programs to promote natural behaviours. A key success was collaborating keepers and members of staff onsite to improve visitor engagement and enjoyment of our section by discussing and educating visitors on our species which would otherwise be overlooked.
