About Harry Milner

I am currently in the role of Senior Programme Manager, NW+C Capital Delivery - Crewe Programme at Network Rail. My most recent role was lead of the NW+C Capital Delivery WD Buildings organisation. I had a large team of direct and indirect staff based across the NW+C region, delivering a wide variety of buildings work from maintenance, emergency response, inspection and a diverse renewals work bank.I joined Network Rail on the 2010 Operations and Customer Service Graduate Scheme. Since then I have gained experience in Track projects, Operations, Performance and I have strong experience of working with key customers.I am also member of Network Rail's 1st cohort on the Accelerated Leadership Programme, and being a part of the ALP is something that I am really proud of.Previous to joining Network Rail I graduated from Leeds University with a BSc Degree in Psychology with a 2 (1) classification in 2008. I then went on to work in California, USA as a football coach after gaining the necessary experience and qualifications in the Uk. I spent 18 months living there before returning to join Network Rail.

The aim is to improve efficiency and quality performance whilst also making savings. I have developed so far from this role skill in stakeholder management, strategic decision making and performance planning. I also led a team of Performance Improvement Co-coordinators.
