Placement experience

Following my placement as a Business Analyst in a multinational company, I actively set out to gain additional experience within an Accountancy practice before returning to complete my final year.My key responsibilities included:• Book keeping and data entry for Self-Assessments, VAT returns, and Company Accounts• Using Accounting Software ‘QuickBooks’ to post bills, expenses, and outputting reports• Producing documentation for a share reorganisation process, and payroll• Performing a Statutory Residence Test

In 2006, InComm launched the first gift card mall in Europe, making it the first company to break into the European gift card market. Since then, they have become the largest prepaid distributor in Europe, providing more than 200 products – translating to about 650 SKUs – to more than 17,500 store locations in over 14 countries across the region.My key responsibilities included:• Interacting with account managers and corporate clients• Defining and producing data sets for use by account managers• Working with other territories to develop standardized analysis reports and understanding these to provide a menu of canned reports for use by territory• Solely responsible for constructing and sending routine weekly and monthly gift card sales reports to partners including Wal-Mart, Blizzard, Wilkinson’s, Valve, H&M and Electronic Arts
