- Participated in the design and development of Language Development Kit API for external customers. This API exposes internal Systran language capabilities so that customers can leverage our capabilities against their internal tasks. Integrated 3rd party Unitex application into this API to provide named entity recognition as a stand alone, light weight application.- Designed and developed system to automatically process daily corpora acquisitions, looking for new words and new noun phrases for targeted analysis by internal lexicographers developing translation dictionaries.- Designed and developed systems to catalog and retrieve vast collection of language corpora. Consists of C++ applications, Web Applications, and database storage. Currently holding 860M unique sentences over 66 languages.- Led team of 5 engineers and 3 Linguists to develop a named entity recognition platform. Providing a user friendly web interface to add and edit entity recognition patterns, lookup dictionaries, and to process and identify named entities within document text.  Supports entity recognition in Arabic, Farsi(Persian), Spanish, French and English. Developed new library to inflect words based upon provided patterns.- Worked with a team of developers to produce a Corpus and Training Manager platform to automate training of hybrid language translation models.- Developed module to identify the language of a text sample.  Uses a model trained against sample corpora for each language.

Led development of a C++ attachment scanning plugin for an e-mail guard application on a Linux platform. Performed complex object oriented development and worked software bugs on a large scale, multi-threaded, multi-node geospatial imagery library written in C/C++ with a large database backend using a Corba inter-application communication framework.Provided a year of on-site developer support for customer acceptance testing: reviewed installation documentation, investigated and submitted bug reports, developed shell and Perl scripts to aid in system monitoring, performed system and database administration for multi-system test bed, interacted with other contractors to discuss the various network communication protocols used by our customer and provided regular status to the factory. Developed and maintained several multi-threaded database abstraction layers, interacting with systems engineers to provide useful database api’s to various software teams.Developed database stored routines, provided database engineering support to software developers, traveled to support library deployments and Integration test events, and aided in database development.
