Learning & Development Coordinator at Oxford University Press Nov 2013 – Feb 2014• Creating and organising inter-company consultancy courses for OUP staff (8000 world wide).• This involves liaising with providers, event accommodation, catering and travel etc.• Being responsible for a large number of staff worldwide requires confidence, clear communication and organisational skills as well as good leadership during events and courses.

• Activities: Creative: Website design, Technical drawings brand ID straplines, logos and icon design.Account Exec: Liaising with clients, client meetings, brand consistency guidelines, sales, quotes, costs.• Results: Being able to work in both the design and account departments of the company has allowed me to gain a good grasp of how the company is run and how the two departments work together.

I took the opportunity to explore a new culture and experience something completely different whilst doing the sport I love the most. I had the highest number of customer recommendations in the ski school.

• I was selected for the Ugandan School Exchange at Burford School. We had to do a lot of fundraising to help fund new buildings and equipment for the school in Uganda as well as pay for the Ugandans to visit Britain. • In Uganda we were teaching in primary schools, playing and teaching sports, helping out and living in the school and community.
