I have been a community pharmacist for 23 years and I have enjoyed every moment of it. However, I am looking for a new challenge in a different pharmacy setting and for an opportunity to learn and obtain new skills. As a pharmacist manager I have had to both lead and manage my staff to get the best each and every one of them has to offer the business. I am extremely hard working and always do more than I am paid to do. I have successfully grown every business I have had the privilege of managing. Over the years I have developed into a very resourceful, creative and solution-oriented pharmacist whose concern is forever the care, well-being and safety of my patients. Two hallmarks of my character are my honesty and integrity. These traits I have used time and time again to exercise my professional judgment in the interests of my patients and the public. I regularly demonstrate empathy and compassion for my patients and these easily allows me to quickly gain their trust so I can better work with them and other members of the professional team to better manage their treatment and care. Encouraging patients to participate in decisions about their care is something I am particularly passionate about. I simply understand that team working is a key feature of everyday professional practice. My habits of being very attentive, patient and thoughtful allows me to easily work with other health professional in my area to quickly gain their co-operation and respect. In every job I have held I believe I consistently display a remarkable ability to handle frustrating situations with patience, tact and diplomacy. I keep my knowledge and skills up to date through continuing professional development. The above traits have made me a high energy self-starter who quickly assumes responsibility and not be afraid to face new challenges and situations.
