• In this role I visit sites, engage with tenants and subsequently write quarterly professional reports for the property owners, requiring strong written communication skills. These reports are then endorsed by my manager and sent onto tenants and owners.• The range of property and tenants that the Company manages has allowed me to gain an insight into not only the property business, but also the management of a variety of different tenant businesses ranging from large multi national PLCs to small independent businesses.

This role was part of my Industrial Placement year, I worked in the Customer Acquisition and Retention team within Brand Communications of Bentley Motors Ltd. My role was to maintain and grow the sales funnel by acquiring and retaining customers via Direct Marketing Communications and Affinity Brand Partnerships.

• My role as a sailing instructor required significant hands on, practical and classroom teaching to a cross section of people of varying ages. This required an excellent, dynamic and flexible approach.• I was responsible for welfare, risk assessment and most importantly ensuring that my students achieved their goals and enjoyed the learning experience. • My performance as an instructor, my previous office experience and commercial drive led to my promotion to become office manager within the school.• The office management experience included all customer facing roles and the additional organisational responsibilities of the back office functions of the business. • I was given day-to-day operational control and under my leadership the business achieved improved student numbers, which flowed through into improvements in the overall performance of the school and its finances during this period.

• Working for one of the UK’s biggest retailers allowed me to gain excellent experience in a broad range of business areas. • The complexities of balancing professional services in a retail environment provided me with very valuable practical, operational and strategic insight. • One of my roles tasked me with market research, analysing competitors products and services and reporting back to senior members of the business. My work in this area received very positive feedback and was recognised with additional financial recompense.• I was allowed to work alongside the main accounts team within the business, giving me a unique insight into how the finances of a multi site national business operate.
