It Head Of Operations
CurrentReporting to the Group IT Director, I am currently responsible for overseeing and directing global Onshore and Offshore IT Operations activities of Group IT Operations personnel in 11 countries, with 5 direct reports and 125+ total employees.The principle focus of IT Operations is to ensure that all IT Services are secure and available to support a global business that operates 24 x7, do this in a financially efficient manner, within compliance requirements of multiple countries, and according to all standards and policies. IT Operations support covers both on premise onshore and offshore, Azure, 400+ applications, ERP, 3rd party support partners, and interfacing with B2B partners.To stay current with the existing and upcoming solutions both onshore and offshore, I ensure that the team maintains their skillset in preparation of any IT Projects that are handed over to IT Operations.To maintain value I introduced automation into IT Operations in order to be able to increase the scope of supporting new cloud applications and offshore digital applications while maintaining stable headcount levels.To meet audit requirements, I participate in audit assessments both internal and external, working with the audit controls teams to assist in developing the IT controls we operate with. Using this knowledge I ensure that the team is well prepared to operate according to all Policies, Procedure and Work Instructions and stay aware of all IT controls.To provide security for all of our systems and data, I work closely with the Group IT Security team to maintain all systems at the highest level of security posture, prioritize security concerns and perform annual rehearsals of the Security Incident Management procedure. Additionally we participate in various penetration tests done for several environments.As Head of IT Operations, working in coordination with Finance Cost Control, I build and operate the annual OPEX and CAPEX budget and quarterly forecasts.
