A successful and passionate classic car restorer and auto electrician with over 15 years’ experience. A leading expert in 1950’s and 1960’s Jaguars.For the past 10 years I have worked at Twyford Moors Classic Cars Limited. I started out as a trainee and have worked my way up to the position of assistant manager learning much along the way. My fascination and enthusiasm for electrics has led me to become one of the UKs leading experts on classic Jaguar electrical systems having rewired dozens of cars.I have a passion for the classic cars and the classic car industry and am keen to work in any way I can to help promote and preserver this industry for the future. As an industry we bring a great deal to the UK economy and I believe there is further untapped potential there waiting to be unlocked.In my role as assistant manager, I have modernised many processes and introduced technology into the way we manage the business. I have particularly focused on our communication strategy and have worked hard to bring the business up to date with a modern website and social media presence.I particularly enjoy my role creating engaging content for our website and social media feeds. I have been able to successfully target particular car models of profiles of customers to generate additional work in these areas. I am also very proud of the work done to update our branding and marketing material to bring it into the 21st century without loosing that classic car feel. In addition to writing content for our website I have been invited to contribute to several classic car magazines over the years.Working in a part productive, part creative and part management role I believe that organisation and time management are a key to success. I am highly motivated by goals and deadlines and will always give me all to deliver on a project. Listening to, learning from and motivating the team I work with is one of the most rewarding and yet challenging aspects of my work. I am sometimes in awe of the wealth of knowledge, experience and skill I am lucky enough to be surrounded with in my daily work. Helping the team to deliver our finished product is a great joy and I believe the cars we produce are second to none.I enjoy making new connections across the classic car industry and am actively looking to expand my network. I am keen to network with those who want to keep this industry alive for future generations, find new and improved ways of work and wish to increase public awareness of the great work being done across the UK and across the world.
