Principal Investigator: Dr. Todd Duhamel Study: WARM (Women’s Advanced Risk Assessment in Manitoba) Hearts Research Study (largest clinical research study at St. Boniface Research)• Two-day study trying to fill a gap in woman’s heart health by improving our ability to determine women’s risk for cardiovascular disease through novel risk assessment techniques. • Hope is to establish a cardiovascular health screening tool to be used clinically for woman over 55 years old. Role:• Conduct both day one (Active Living Center) and day two (St. Boniface Hospital) participant appointments on woman over 55 years old while following several clinical research protocols• Maintain patient privacy laws and PHIA as involved in clinical research data collection/storage• Collect participant health history and study consent• Using different research technologies to conduct non-invasive tests such as arterial stiffness, Blood pressure, functional fitness, body composition and various questionnaires (attention and memory)• Accurately completing, auditing and filing patient testing forms.• Preparing and storing participant blood samples to be later analyzed (Pipetting blood, using a centrifuge) • Participating in frequent lab meetings with a dynamic research team Analyzing/discussing cardiovascular health literature

• Respond to customer concerns, support, and assist in achievement of Store Standards customer care and sales goals and objectives• Set up and maintain product demos, and complete appropriate down-stocking of productMaintain current knowledge of the latest technology products and industry trends

• Managed and lead children through daily recreational/class room activities as per program schedule and facilitated leadership learning opportunities • Facilitated positive group/individual child behaviour and promoted/encouraged inclusivity, fair play and participation • Taught human movement and sport specific skills through games and activities • Submitted attendance records of assigned children as well as recorded child comprehension of program specific learning outcomes
