As purchasing coordinator at FleuraMetz Pyramide Naaldwijk I was responsible for realizing the purchasing needs for the branch tailored to the demand and trends of our customers. For this I used the network environment of the parent company, direct channels and the auction instrument, to bring each other together to create the widest possible range on competitive terms.Making the purchasing needs, the actual purchase of the products, stock and margin monitoring and managing the floor staff on a daily basis, was part of my core tasks.

As Branch Manager at FleuraMetz branch: Eurofleur FloraHolland Eelde, I was responsible for the day-to-day affairs within the branch and the realization and implementation of FleuraMetz's business vision and strategy.for this branch and connect with local demand and trends for this region. To achieve this, I used the infrastructure of the parent company, local channels and the auction instrument to match those local needs. Making the purchasing needs daily, the actual purchasing of the products, stock and margin monitoring, managing the staff, was one of my core tasks. Due to the great difference in vision of FleuraMetz and the local market conditions, it was decided in 2015 to divest this branch as it was no longer in line with the company philosophy

In 1991 stap gemaakt om zelfstandig bloemenexport bedrijf op testarten waarbij de focus lag op supermarkten in de U.S.A..Veelvuldig beurzen en bestaande en potentiele klanten bezocht in deU.S.A. en met succes nieuwe afzetmogelijkheden ontwikkeld. Rond deeeuwwisseling had Ceres een omzet van +/- 20 Mlj US$, 8 vastemedewerkers en tijdens de piekperiode’s +/- 25 uitzendkrachten indienst.Door de val van de US $ en de enorme stijging van de luchtvrachttarieven mede veroorzaakt door de hoge olie prijzen, konden deNederlandse tuinbouw producten niet langer concurreren met delocale productie en Zuid Amerikaanse import.
